Chinese Bird Pattern also called “Bird and Basket” was first produced by William Adams in 1780 at a time when Asian porcelain exports were on the rise. So they tried showcase a new design among the competition to imitate popular Chinese designs.
The pattern was revived in 1910. This is when the porcelain mark was complemented with the registration number #623294. It was well in demand and remained in production until 1940.
